Volunteer
CFC has more than 250 volunteers who support all aspects of our organization. The majority have worked with us for more than 5 years; many have been with CFC 20+. The Clinic is a great and fun place to volunteer. Volunteers are high school students, working professionals, homemakers, and retired individuals. Clinical positions include Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists, Physical Therapists, Clerks and others. To match volunteer skills and interests with Clinic jobs, potential volunteers must go through a process of application, interview, and one-on-one training. Individual volunteer commitments vary, but most provide 4 hours per month of service. All volunteers must adhere to CFC’s confidentiality and policies.

Donate
Your donation to the CFC directly supports our mission of providing accessible healthcare to the uninsured. Contributions go toward medical supplies, patient care programs, and operating expenses for medical professionals and facility upkeep. Every dollar returns around $5.50 in medical services, from funding essential medications to supporting wellness programs. Whether a one-time gift or a monthly contribution, your generosity makes a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most. Help us continue offering compassionate care by donating today.

Now, as Janet prepares to move to Georgia, she leaves behind a clinic she deeply loves. “If I wasn’t moving, I wouldn’t be leaving at all,” she said. While she’s exploring opportunities in hospice care and possibly volunteering at a local clinic, she promises to stay connected. With family in the area, she’ll be back to visit—and she won’t hesitate to pop in to check that Clearwater Free Clinic is still running a tight ship.
